Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is an in office position, not remote.

The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

Essential Job Duties:

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

Proactively sources and develops talent pipelines to include building and maintaining a diverse network of potential candidates for current and future needs.

Develops and implements recruitment strategies that utilize an assortment of search techniques (Internet mining, networking, social recruiting, advertising, employee referrals, alumni outreach, and college relationships) to develop a slate of qualified candidates.

Ensures candidates and hiring managers have an ideal experience by ensuring timely contact, feedback and customer support throughout the interviewing process.

Ensures accurate data input into the applicant tracking system.

Creates and publishes job postings and advertisements.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

Schedules interviews and oversees interview process through selection and hire.

Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and human resource director during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Will act as customer service for all employees and department heads and accommodate request in a timely manner.

Builds positive relationships with colleges, associations and professional organizations by participating in networking events, job fairs and industry conferences.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred but not required.

Must have strong computer skills and be Microsoft proficient.

Must have strong social media skills to include Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

At least five years high volume, full cycle, recruitment experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

Criminal Background check, drug screen, reference required. EOE.
