DescriptionWe are looking for a TA Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition team to provide 'best in class' talent acquisition support by being strategic partners in recruiting and onboarding top talent in a timely, professional, proactive, and consultative manner through practices that form a safe, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture. You will gain experience in all areas of this dynamic, changing business and assist with company-wide recruitment activities. Your role will be reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, TA Systems & Analytics. Your responsibilities are to ensure your company's compliance with background check laws, policies, and procedures and to guide job candidates through the background check process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and make updates to Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as HR system documents and maintains accurate and thorough ATS end-user processes and procedures.
- Routing requisitions for approval process in a timely and correct manner.
- Coordinate, conduct and track pre-employment screenings, including but not limited to, drug screens, motor vehicle reports, and criminal background investigations, among others, insuring on-time completion and filing.
- Check background check vendor portal on a daily basis and take necessary action in order to pass/decline checks
- Respond to internal and external TA related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Provide prompt and quality customer service to applicants on their employment status.
- Maintain applicant/employee confidentiality in accordance with our data protection policy and procedures.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Weekly reporting on pre-employment investigations activity
- Interacting with employees and hiring managers on a daily basis, maintaining documents, and providing support
- Assist with training, clerical work and support with other related tasks and special projects, as requested by Director of Talent Acquisition
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 6 months related experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems experience, preferred
- Strong Computer skills including MS Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a strong knowledge of the Internet (search tools, social networking tools, etc.) as well as the ability to pick up new computer programs/systems/applications quickly
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Excellent organization skill and the ability to ability to multi task are essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality information, professional demeanor under pressure and effectively work with employees and candidates at all level
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment process
