Responsibilities:
The On-boarding coordinator provides all aspects of administrative and technical support to the recruitment team, ensuring a seamless new hire pre-employment and onboarding process. Serve as a guide and facilitator, assuring new employees feel welcomed, informed, and equipped during the entire process.
- Act as a resource for new employees, addressing concerns or questions and providing continuous support during the pre-employment process.
- Support end-to-end recruiting processes via ICIMS, including all aspects of, posting jobs, opening, and closing jobs, tracking advertising costs, creating offer letters, sending on boarding documents and keeping the platform up to date with status changes regarding employment actions.
- Maintain all new and updated job descriptions and job folder.
- Create/maintain posting templates to align with NYBCe brand strategy and prepare social media job posting.
- Responds to job opening inquiries and hiring procedures.
- Works with the Talent Acquisitions Specialist to ensure all aspects of pre-employment processing are complete, including: Coordinate and track pre-employment screening requirements such as background checks, drug screens, DMV checks, and pre-employment medical exams.
- Verify credentials of licensed personnel (i.e., Registered Nurse, Physician, NYS Technologists, ASCP Technologist).
- Send onboarding forms electronically or launch from NYBC Applicant Tracking System (ICMS).
- Create employment folders for new hires and ensure all required onboarding paperwork is complete and filed in the candidate’s folder.
- Entering pre and post hire data into Workday and ICIMS.
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
- Act as the back-up facilitator to bi-weekly New Hire Orientation and provide support by reviewing paperwork for completeness.
- Prepares weekly ICIMS report and ad-hoc reports.
- Coordination group meeting for the TA team.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; College Degree or coursework preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in a high-volume Human Resources recruiting environment, with a working understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate $33.52 p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
