The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling and daily assignments of all CNA and Licensed Nuring staff with the goal of meeting daily staffing ratios, minimizing overtime hours, reducing callouts, setting a positive example for team members, and promoting a harmonious team.
As Staffing Coordinator you will work under the direction of the Director of Staff Development and the Director of Nurses. The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability build strong relationships with the nursing staff. You must and be able to project staffing needs well in advance, successfully negotiate time-off requests, fill gaps in the schedule, and manage callouts.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to relate positively and favorably to all co-workers
- Current California CNA certification is required.
- Prior experience as a staffing coordinator in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Must be punctual and reliable
