We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as the Membership Recruitment and Development Manager. As the Membership Recruitment and Development Manager you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), Community Health Centers (CHC), and Dental School Faculty groups while spearheading membership initiatives.
Your primary duties will involve conducting targeted campaigns to attract new members through various channels such as phone calls, email, direct mail, social media and face-to-face interactions. Collaborating closely with the team, you will contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive statewide recruitment strategy aimed at expanding and engaging our membership base.
Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting local district leaders in member recruitment and retention efforts by providing detailed tracking reports and identifying potential members based on key data. Your insights will also be instrumental in identifying key membership segments, exploring new membership categories, and devising innovative membership benefits and incentives to drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct campaign to recruit new members by utilizing a variety of methods, including phone calls, email, direct mail, and personal visits.
- Assist in developing and implementing an effective statewide recruitment campaign to increase and engage membership.
- Assist local district leaders in the recruitment of new members and retention of current members by providing tracking and/or benchmarking reports and providing lists of potential members with key data.
- Assist in determining key membership segments and prospects, potential new membership categories, and new membership benefits or membership incentives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years’ job-related sales and relationship building experience.
- Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Detail oriented with proven sales and networking skills.
- Self-starter who presents themselves professionally.
- Ability to prospect/cold-call new members.
- Proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Salesforce is helpful.
- Able to think outside the box to offer new ideas, concepts, solutions, etc.
- Team player that works well in a fast-changing environment.
- Exceptional people skills with an outgoing personality.
- Must be available for evening and weekend meetings and events throughout Massachusetts.
- Availability to attend Yankee Dental Congress annually, last week in January, in Boston
