The HR Business Partner will provide consultation, advice, and guidance to organizations on various HR-related matters. The primary role is to assist businesses to effectively manage their human capital, implement HR best practices, and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position includes full responsibility and accountability to the CEO of CNS in an effective, efficient, and economical manner. Meeting and exceeding project timelines is imperative to the success of this position.
IMPACT OF POSITION:
Successful completion of essential responsibilities builds growth for CNS while protecting the company, growing revenues, ensuring quality of staff and services, and provides efficient operations for future stability.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct HR audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for organizational structure, workforce planning, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Advise on effective recruitment strategies, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Support the development of onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Provide guidance on performance management, including feedback, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
- Provide guidance on salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive programs.
- Assist in the evaluation of market data for compensation benchmarking.
- Recommend and implement HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solutions to streamline HR processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on consulting or advisory services.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software tools.
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
- Must possess valid and insurable drivers license.
PHYSICAL:
- Seeing: Must be able to read computer screen and various reports. 100% of time.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear and communicate with employees, clients, and industry contacts. 100% of time.
- Standing/Walking: Standing and walking are infrequent. 75% of time.
- Grasping and Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use phone system. 100% of time.
- Climbing, Stooping, Kneeling, Lifting, Pulling and Pushing are infrequent. 25% of time.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Primarily full-time work from home with frequent travel in all types of weather conditions, required.
