Duties/Responsibilities:·
Manage HR service delivery for operations in NC & CA
- Maintain company headcount report and organizational chart.
- Manage employees performance process, feedback and action plans
Manage day-to-day regional HR needs including:
- Employee file management
- Payroll and benefits administration
- Develop job descriptions and role profiles
- Recruitment
- Drug screening program
Support recruitment by:
- Posting job advertisements
- Screening resumes
- Scheduling interviews
- Generation of offer letters
- Employee background check & Complinet screen
Policy development and documentation:
- Oversee appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people/resources of the organization, including programs for employee relations, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee complaints, external education and career development etc.
Manage the cyclical HR requirements of the business:
- Act as the point of contact for on-boarding & exit communication with new hires/leavers
- Facilitate good employee relationships and promote a positive work environment
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides administrative support to the HR department including data collection and reporting as required.
- May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, or researching and fixing processing errors.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years Human Resource Professional
- Paycom or other HRIS related experience is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior related office experience preferred
- SHRM Certification is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
