We are currently searching for a Recruiter who will support recruitment efforts and initiatives, including participation in job fairs (some travel may be required), placing job postings, and assistance with pre-employment processing and onboarding. Candidate sourcing, outsourcing, and FMCSA experience are all highly preferred.
Responsibilities for the Recruiter:
- Assist potential candidates with the online application process.
- Review submitted resumes.
- Assist with setting up and staffing job fairs.
- Research appropriate sites and publications for job postings.
- Respond to applicant inquiries.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist with pre-employment paperwork processing, e.g. background checks, drug tests, credit checks.
- Obtain new hire paperwork from hiring managers.
- Prepare weekly new employee orientation packages.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience working with various levels of management
- Able to work in a fast paced complex environment with a lot of time-sensitive responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- High school diploma or its equivalent (required)
- At least 2 years of administrative and/or Human Resources experience (required)
- Bilingual (strongly preferred) – able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred)
- Candidate sourcing, outsourcing, and FMCSA experience are all highly preferred. (highly preferred)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License (required)
- Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations (required)
Preferred Qualification:
- Prior experience recruiting CDL drivers.
- Any AAP (Affirmative Action Plan) experience (eg. tracking/audits/etc)
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $33-$37/hr (based on experience and talent)
