Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Professional to ensure that all human
resource (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for
developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior leadership on all related
subjects. As our HR Director, you must be bilingual, and an experienced professional with deep
knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs
and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset. We are a very busy and fast
growing practice that thrives on hard-working, enthusiastic professionals.
As the HR Director at Elizabeth Rosario Law, you will play a critical role in shaping our
organization's culture, managing talent acquisition and development, and ensuring compliance
with employment laws and regulations. You will work closely with leadership to drive HR
strategies that align with our business objectives and contribute to our ongoing growth and
success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top legal and administrative talent.
- Oversee the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, candidate screening,
interviews, and offers for local team and international contractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and legal
associations to source potential candidates.
2. Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and
satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, providing guidance and solutions as
needed.
- Develop and execute employee recognition and retention programs.
3. Compliance and HR Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practices.
- Conduct regular HR audits to assess and mitigate risks.
4. Performance Management:
- Devise and implement performance management processes, including goal setting,
performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and development.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate

6. HR Analytics and Reporting:

- Report to senior leadership by analyzing data and using HR metrics..
- Identify trends and opportunities for enhancing HR processes.
7. Team Leadership:
- Grow, lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Delegate responsibilities and provide mentorship to HR staff.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment within the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field MSc/MA in
human resources will be a plus.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an HR Director or senior HR leadership role for a minimum of 7 years,
preferably within the legal industry.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and management.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
