Job Summary:
As an HR Administrative Coordinator, you will provide recruiting, onboarding, and human resources administrative support for the plant hourly workforce. You will work closely with plant leadership, employees, agencies, candidates, and corporate NVR functions. Responsibilities also include administrative support for a variety of plant functions and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure a timely, effective, and compliant recruiting process for hourly plant employees. Assist with screening and interviewing of new employees and maintain accurate and updated records in Taleo.
- Track the hiring pipeline and communicate with staffing agencies and plant leadership.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientations and process all necessary paperwork through NVR’s payroll and benefits department.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly hourly payroll data.
- Prepare management reports and respond to leadership requests and inquiries related to Kronos and Payroll.
- Provide local Human Resources support for hourly plant employees, including but not limited to PCNs, employee questions and requests, communication of policies, leave of absence administration, benefits open enrollment, policy signoffs, pay statements.
- Coordinate with corresponding corporate Human Resources or Workforce Development contacts.
- Interact with employees, candidates, vendors, and leadership in a respectful and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential employee records and files. Ensure compliance with all NVR policies and procedures and state and federal regulations.
- Support timely processing and tracking of hourly production employee evaluations and provide necessary information to supervisors, for accurate completion.
- Provide administrative support for the plant safety program.
- Gather information, create, and distribute a monthly plant newsletter.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and cross-train in other departments, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
- 1+ year of Recruiting or HR experience preferred.
- High level of attention to detail and focus on confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must possess strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Reliability and initiative to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional team environment.
- Results-driven with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to learn new things and cross-train in other departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
