We are seeking a proactive and resourceful individual to join our team as a Recruiter. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in achieving our company's recruiting objectives by managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting talent to conducting interviews and assessing candidates. You will also take the lead in optimizing our candidate pipelines both internally and externally. Additionally, you will provide valuable support to our leaders by assisting them in utilizing recruiting tools and initiatives effectively. Your role will also involve providing constructive feedback and timely performance data to enhance our recruiting efforts. As Recruiter, I:
- Am well informed about the company’s recruiting needs and priorities.
- Recruit, interview and vet potential new management and leadership positions.
- Oversee the daily workflow of recruiting.
- Source and attract candidates by using databases, job boards, social media and referrals.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/colleges.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.
- Provides constructive and timely performance data for recruiting.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Promote the company’s reputation as “Employer of Choice.”
- Maintain a candidate pipeline for external store manager consideration.
- Develop new strategies and programs to attract candidates for all positions.
- Manages the recruiting systems.
- Identify and implement improvements to recruiting for all positions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
- Holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter is preferred.
- Hands on experience with various selection processes including video interviewing, phone interviewing, in person 1-1, group interviews is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent team player.
- Experience working in a full-service Restaurant Environment preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business strongly preferred but not required.
- Three to Five years of human resource experience is preferred.
- Three to Five years recruiting experience preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional or Senior Certified Professional credential preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
