Position Summary:
The Resource Family Recruiter, working in collaboration with the Treatment Foster Care and Development Departments, will develop territories, increase targeted populations, and develop rapport with potential candidates, and help increase awareness of the need for foster families.
In a manner consistent with supporting The Arc NCR Mission Statement the Resource Family Recruiter shall do the following:
· Utilize and maintain Social Media related to recruitment and awareness for the TFC Program
· Coordinate initiatives designed to promote awareness of the TFC program
· Assist with developing relationships with the community and creating partnerships which lead to increased foster families
· Provide PRIDE Pre-service training to prospective foster families.
· Responsible for the recruitment of potential foster or adoptive parents, community involvement and agency promotion to ensure success of the TFC program
· Pursue all inquiries of interest from parties interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents using email or direct contact
Administrative Assistant
· Provides phone support to the Director of Treatment Foster Care (TFC) as requested.
· Receives, routes, and responds to mail, telephone, email and personal inquiries regarding TFC as appropriate.
· Assists in maintaining the director’s schedule as requested. Acts as liaison with appointments, guests, and maintains and schedules the Director’s office.
· Creates and maintains confidential client information files for the TFC Program within the department database system (Extended Reach) in accordance with COMAR and HIPAA requirements.
· Organizes and maintains monthly compliances with youth and family records.
· Assist in the development and planning of trainings, socials, and other events as requested, including scheduling, reserving rooms, preparing announcements, RSVP cards and agendas, and arranging food service if applicable.
Maintain and update department database (Extended Reach) of prospective, current and former foster parents, foster children and team members of the TFC Program for statistical analysis, outreach and screening purposes
Education, Training and Experience:
· High School Diploma is required
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or business related preferred
· Experience in working independently and in a team environment
· Experience in Human Services or Foster Care is preferred.
· Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Other Requirements
· Access to reliable transportation
· Active valid driver’s license and driving record that has no more than two (2) points.
· Maintenance of all required trainings under DDA guidelines and The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region policies and procedures
· Flexibility of scheduling to meet agency and program needs

Pay: $25.00 per hour
