Job Summary:
With reasonable accommodation if required, will develop and maintain a database of qualified light industrial candidates for placement. Establish and grow relationships with existing and new clients. In compliance with applicable laws/regulations and company policy recruit for temporary assignments, temporary to direct hire, recurring positions as well as uncommon “one of a kind” positions.
Duties:
- Maintain the highest level of integrity, adhere to organization’s Core Values and work to ensure safety of candidates, employees and clients.
- Recruit and interview new applicants and update existing applicants in database (Avionte) for the purpose of matching candidate qualifications with client needs
- Utilize training, professional techniques and compliance knowledge to interview, select and place candidates in accordance with client needs on a timely basis.
- Ensure proper (electronic) onboarding of new employees, including criminal background checks, drug screens orientations, safety training, company policies, WOTC questionnaire completion, tax forms, I-9’s, etc.
·-Attend meetings with clients, candidates, business development consultants, and appropriate seminars/training/events as needed, including periodic after hours networking events.
- Proactively market prospective candidates with existing clients.
- Respond and follow up on inquiries with both clients and applicants by email, telephone, mail, text or in-person visits in a timely manner
· Manage and update relevant data on all open and filled orders in shared database. Maintain necessary documentation on open and filled orders according to standard operating procedures
· Monitor client activities to anticipate specialty placement needs of clients
· Work closely with clients in evaluating placed candidates and oversee any changes which may be necessary in order to meet the client needs
· Have ability to discuss with clients bill-rates based on GPS policy, cost factors and budget.
· Meet and/or exceed established goals for production of gross margin dollars. Proactively engage with leadership to meet set goals and continue to develop professionally within GPS.
· Other duties as assigned by direct manager and senior management
Education and experience:
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years’ experience, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
· Previous experience in recruiting in a high volume, fast-paced environment
· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times.
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Utilize independent judgment to plan, prioritize and execute on a timely basis
· Possess high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise software (Avionte)
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
· While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, keyboard and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Work will be performed in an office setting.
