Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced, creative and driven Corporate Recruiter to join our team! This role is equal parts autonomous and collaborative, offering the opportunity to assist with recruiting efforts across every job category, while collaborating with the Sr. Recruiting Manager. This is a great opportunity to source creative architecture professionals, and support staff, to work on some of the most exciting, high-profile projects in the industry! We are experts at drawing people together around the things and events they love!
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for open roles.
- Conduct initial screening of potential candidates, determining qualifications, interest areas, and familiarizing them with Populous.
- Develop positive relationships with potential and active candidates, providing regular and final status updates.
- Summarize screenings, and provide detailed notes to hiring managers for review.
- Provide a positive candidate experience.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies designed to drive candidate engagement, increase applicant traffic, resulting in hiring exceptional staff.
- Support the campus recruiting team when needed.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to move candidates through the application and interview pipeline. Review and disposition applicants accordingly. Maintain accurate records within the ATS.
- Stay abreast of prevailing and emerging trends in talent acquisition, sourcing, engagement and other areas of recruiting.
Requirements For Success:
- Strong proactive sourcing experience, and the confidence to reach out to passive or potential candidates.
- Experience in behavioral interviewing.
- Hands on experience w/ various applicant tracking systems. Bonus for knowledge of Paycor.
- Knowledge of DEI talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience in the use of social recruiting platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.
- Familiarity with basic employment laws relevant to interviewing, hiring, tracking candidate information.
- Ability to maintain employee and candidate confidentiality.
- Compassion, empathy and relationship-building capabilities.
- Persuasive and positive approach to candidate engagement.
- Technical competency in various business applications including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Zoom or other video conferencing tools, PowerPoint or other presentation applications, and a wide variety of Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or other relevant field, or in lieu of degree, strong industry related experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of corporate recruiting experience in the A/E/C industry, or other professional services related market sector. More experience is great too. Some third-party experience would be a bonus!
