UCLA Business & Finance Solutions (BFS) is building for its 400+ staff (inclusive of student workers) a best-in-class people function to focus on attracting and hiring top talent, attending to their support and development, and creating a meaningful employee experience. As a member of the BFS Operations Team, the HR Assistant provides administrative support to the HR team. As a member of the BFS Operations Team, the HR Assistant provides administrative support to the HR team. The incumbent supports the recruitment process, submits job descriptions, and posts requisitions. The HR Assistant submits the required paperwork for employee hires, separations, transfers, extensions, and other activities. The incumbent assists managers throughout the onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintains department org charts and employee directory. The HR Assistant will support employee recognition and on-the-spot awards by keeping track of nominations, providing a list of candidates, documenting winners, and ordering awards. The incumbent will also assist with the performance evaluation process and keep track of employee ratings.

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
