The Legal Recruiting & Hiring Manager is responsible for managing the full cycle recruiting process for partner, counsel, associate, entry-level candidates, and support staff employees. This position works collaboratively with team members to ensure consistency across offices and delivers high-quality service. This person in this role uses their judgement to assess candidate qualifications and makes recommendations in support of the Firm’s strategic recruiting goals. The Legal Recruiting & Hiring Manager reports directly to the COO and works closely with the firm-wide hiring partners, the Controller, the Director of Operations, and the Human Resources Manager. A hybrid work schedule is available for this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Manage the Attorney & Staff Hiring & Recruiting process across all office locations nationwide.
· Continually enhance the overall hiring process by working closely with internal IT to implement new recruitment technologies and optimize the integration of various tools and platforms.
· Works closely with the Firm’s Leaders to understand and plan for future workforce.
· Identifies and implements best practices and innovative strategies to ensure the Firm attracts and retains a diverse, skilled, and high-performing workforce.
· Fosters a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity and promotes a positive candidate experience.
· Oversee the management of the firm’s campus outreach, entry level recruiting, and summer associate program.
· Must be able to attend evening events on a regular basis.
· Oversees the end-to-end hiring and recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of team workflow, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
· Benchmark, formulate, administer, and maintain recruiting policies, operational procedures, and practices consistent with the goals and objectives of the firm, including meeting firm’s diversity hiring goals.
· Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among staff; lead team to meet the firm’s expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Law degree or completion of law school is a plus.
· 7+ years of demonstrated hiring in the legal or professional services industry a plus.
· Managerial experience required.
· Recruitment certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
