Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Source and screen applicants for various positions on a daily basis.
· Conduct telephone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and placement potential.
· Assess applicant’s skills and qualifications to match individuals to job openings and source for future job openings.
· Submit qualified candidates to open job orders.
· Enter pre-qualified candidates, job postings and notes into the company's candidate database.
· Write and interpret job descriptions.
· List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other effective channels.
· Present strong applicants (skill marketing) to current clients. Facilitate candidate interviews with clients, confirm new starts, and conduct continuous quality control calls.
· Facilitate the onboarding of contract associates while adhering to current legally compliant hiring practices and client contractual requirements.
· Oversee candidate onboarding compliance, including but not limited to drug/background screens, I-9, E-Verify, payroll, state specific and/or client specific onboarding documents.
· Review candidate pre-screening results to determine employment eligibility and ensure adherence to FCRA hiring process.
· Responsible for ensuring all required onboarding and weekly payroll documentation is accurate, completed on time, and appropriately categorized within company utilized systems.
· Interact with clients extensively as the secondary contact to foster a strong, trusting relationship.
· Create portfolios of possible candidates for hiring managers, references, perform applicant background checks, and initiate drug screens.
· Inform candidate of company's hiring decision, compose and present offers of employment, negotiate salary and benefits.
· Track and maintain all candidate documentation, including applications and other files.
· Assist with payroll, unemployment, and worker’s compensation as needed. Provide support to the Branch Manager and the Sales Manager as needed.
· Meet Recruiter weekly lead generation metrics with verified leads including prospect and contact details.
· Network with civic, social and other groups to provide information concerning job possibilities.
· Travel to universities, community colleges, and other local job fair events.
· Participate in implementing new recruiting technology, such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools.
· Perform human resource tasks, including performance counseling and terminations as needed for contract employees.
· All other duties as assigned.
