Job Description: The Recruiter / HR assistant for UPT will assist the HR Manager with daily HR functions for our small but expanding company with 4 locations and 80 employees.
Job Responsibilities:
Initial duties include but are not limited to posting jobs online * resume review * checking references * phone screening and in-person interviews * filing paperwork. Other duties include helping current employees with benefits questions * planning and coordinating company outings, events, and training sessions. Some travel between two main locations in the Charlotte/Locust area. Occasional travel to Ohio and Pittsburgh (two other UPT locations).
This position can be full-time or part-time with the flexibility to work remotely from home one or two days per week.

Required Qualifications:
- Must have at least a High School diploma.
- At least 1-2 years prior Human Resources or Recruiting experience.
- Must enjoy working with people and living the motto; “employees come first”.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in the Human Resources area.
- Strong computer skills (posting on the internet and social media) as well as MS office (word and excel)
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- We drug screen all our full-time employees.
