Objectives of this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiting Specialist to lead our recruitment efforts, with a specific focus on identifying and hiring skilled professionals in the field of wound care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare recruitment, a deep understanding of the wound care landscape, and a passion for connecting talented individuals with meaningful career opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the wound care industry, including physicians, nurses, wound care specialists, and administrative staff.
2. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect position requirements and qualifications.
3. Utilize various company approved sourcing methods, including networking, job boards, social media, and industry partnerships, to identify qualified candidates.
4. Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, and cultural fit with Wound Care Plus.
5. Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate candidate communication, and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
6. Perform thorough candidate reference checks including previous employers and professional references.
7. Manage relationships with company approved external recruitment agencies and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of recruitment services.
8. Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve and optimize our talent acquisition efforts.
9. Develop and maintain a strong employer brand by promoting Wound Care Plus as an employer of choice within the wound care community.
10. Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular reports and updates to leadership on recruitment activity, progress, and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, with a focus on wound care or related specialties.
- Strong understanding of the wound care industry, including knowledge of wound care treatment modalities, clinical practices, regulatory requirements and licensure requirements per state.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring healthcare professionals across various roles and levels of seniority.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using company approved recruitment database and applicant tracking systems to manage the recruitment process efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy throughout the recruitment process including job posting, screening of resumes and CVs, scheduling interviews, final-offer negotiation and hiring.
- Highly organized along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of recruitment and candidate engagement.
