Overview of Position
The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition - Corporate will lead the Talent Acquisition team in developing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness and scalability of full lifecycle recruiting, hiring and onboarding strategies supporting the Corporate functions of the organization to support our goal of attracting, hiring and retaining top talent. They will partner with leaders to align these strategies with business objectives and will demonstrate strategic, operational, and tactical capabilities, while being hands-on in the leadership and implementation of recruiting initiatives, that enable Labcorp to attract, hire and retain the best talent.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads, manages and supports the Talent Acquisition team by creating and implementing strategies for proactive hiring, onboarding and resource management, project planning and prioritization and team development, mentorship and performance management.
- Drives team development and ensures team has resources and support needed to be effective in their role.
- Responsible for talent analytics, establishing KPI’s to evaluate the impact and success of talent programs and adjusting strategy based on insights; ensures metrics includes forecasting of recruitment needs across the system.
- Partners with the HR Business Partnering team on workforce planning to aid in developing and implementing proactive, efficient and effective recruiting strategies to create robust talent pipelines to meet current and anticipated business needs.
- Builds strong relationships and collaborates with Leadership to discuss recruiting strategies, recruiting metrics and status of hiring needs and progress on a consistent basis.
- Empowers Talent Acquisition team to educate hiring managers on interviewing and onboarding best practices.
- Empowers and partners with Talent Acquisition team to consistently meet with hiring leaders and HR colleagues to discuss feedback on candidates, status of positions, challenges in the recruitment process and identify future/additional recruitment needs.
- In partnership with various HR teams, recommends and implements simple and innovative improvements to current programs, processes and procedures, to support an environment of continuous improvement.
- Champions a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Ensures timely communication with candidates and gathers feedback to continually improve the recruitment process.
- Strengthens the organization's employer brand to attract top talent and positions the company as an employer of choice in the industry. Collaborates with the appropriate teams to promote the organization's culture, values, and employee value proposition.
- Strategizes and prioritizes a diversity and inclusion focus, developing key relationships and proactively ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates and promoting a diverse workforce.
- Partners with the Early Talent team to ensure leaders are embracing early in career talent as part of their hiring strategy.
- For senior leadership roles, conducts full lifecycle recruitment.
- Ensures that all recruitment practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a fair and ethical recruitment process.
Scope
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or similar field
- 8+ years recruiting experience across various disciplines – IT, Corporate, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR experience a plus.
- Proven people leadership and management experience
- Proven experience in the successful design and execution of innovative recruiting strategies, programs and processes
- Outstanding project, program, change, process, and event management skills; highly organized, process-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive
- Strong leadership presence with ability to interact with all levels of employees and stakeholders and think both strategically and tactically.
- Strong skills in emerging technology, industry trends, and processes and their application to attracting key talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of follow-up and accountability
- Ability to be proactive, innovative, forward thinking, and challenging the status quo
- Capable of building strong partnerships and serve as a consultant internally and externally
- Team player, flexible, adaptable, creative problem solver, ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work through ambiguity
- This position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work schedules.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $140,000 + bonus
