Description:
Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years, but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20, and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of personnel policies, wage and salary administration, benefits administration, recruitment and retention of staff, and all aspects of employee relations for MCHD. This includes the overall operation of the Human Resources Department, including establishing goals, procedures, and standards.
Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.

Three years experience in Human Resources Management required.

Healthcare HR experience is highly preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:

Experience:

Three years experience in Human Resources Management required.

Prior healthcare HR experience is highly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of human resources administration, developing and implementing policies and procedures, management practices, equal employment opportunity concepts and legal requirements, and salary administration is required.
