Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including training and development, process improvement, budgeting, talent management, and senior leadership support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, possess excellent leadership skills, and be able to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company guidelines and applicable laws
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Monitor and evaluate HR programs to ensure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic HR initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in human resources
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience in training development and delivery
- Proven ability to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Budgeting skills to effectively manage HR expenses
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team
- Familiarity with HRIS systems for data management
- Talent management expertise, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including OSHA compliance
- Proficiency in HR software applications such as Paycor
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus!
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
