Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recruiter & Executive People person to join our team. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates to meet our organization's staffing needs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that we have a talented and diverse workforce.
Duties:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
- Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate information and track recruitment metrics
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary
- Stay up-to-date on employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in the recruitment process
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other organizations to attract potential candidates
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role
- Knowledge of HR sourcing techniques and tools such as PeopleSoft or similar HRIS systems
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) for managing candidate information
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively communicate with candidates at all levels of the organization
- Experience with cold calling and conducting phone screens/interviews
- Excellent research skills to identify potential candidates in various industries
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Experience with employee relations is a plus
- Proficiency in using Paychex or similar payroll software is preferred
