As a Recruiter with the NEEDS Center, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our growing non-profit organization. You will collaborate closely with Human Resources and hiring managers to understand their requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Your expertise in candidate sourcing, screening, and assessment will be essential in identifying and securing qualified candidates who align with our company culture and values.
Working Relationships:
In this role you will report primarily to the Director of Recruiting and receive additional direction from the VP of Human Resources and CFO. The recruiting team maintains a good and collaborative working relationship with all NEEDS Center colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the hiring and staffing needs of the NEEDS Center
- Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, facilitate interview feedback sessions, and manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Extending job offers and negotiate employment terms with selected candidates.
- Oversee onboarding process including completing offer letters, scheduling for orientation training, processing new hire paperwork
- Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges, along with other talent acquisition partners.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, and other talent acquisition activities to promote our organization as an employer of choice.
General:
- Conform to all applicable policies and procedures of N.E.E.D.S
- Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to staff, individuals and individual’s families
- Keep Administration informed of any issues
- Assist Admin team with any special projects as needed

Completes all assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of the N.E.E.D.S, Inc. and conducts him/herself within any published Standards of Professional Conduct of his/her program, division and the organization.
- Performs such other duties, responsibilities and projects at any such program or location as assigned by a supervisor or other member of the admin team
- Adheres to the N.E.E.D.S Policy and Procedure which protects the privacy and security of consumer health information.
- Maintains the security of electronic media and returns media to his/her supervisor when appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using recruiting web sites such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office as well as knowledgeable of other recruiting and onboarding applications.
