Your Role
The Talent Acquisition team is responsible for delivering innovative recruiting solutions to the Enterprise. The Talent Advisor, Senior will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Customer Experience . The Talent Advisor, Senior works within a team of recruiters who closely partner with hiring leaders to identify and recruit for talent.
Your Work
- Lead and manage the recruiting process in the identification, assessment and nurturing of external and internal talent using creative, proactive, cutting edge recruitment methods
- Develop relationships and elicit clear requirements for positions across several areas of a business units/Talent Acquisition functional areas
- Counsel hiring managers and others on hiring procedures and provide any needed coaching on interviewing techniques
- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy, including appropriate media and advertising, to source or direct sourcing efforts to develop a pool of qualified applicants/candidates for each assigned open position
- Ensure all appropriate documentation is maintained in employee file through hiring process and ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations regarding hiring and initial employment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires at least 5 years of recruitment experience
- A proven track record of organization skills that can flex to manage a high volume of requisitions
- Demonstrates proven strong written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transformative environment with a positive outlook
- Proven track record of demonstrated independent thinking, innovation of technical & sourcing capabilities, and a high degree of demonstrated self-initiative and ownership of work
Note - Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
Pay Range -The pay range for this role is: $ 87230.00 to $ 130900.00 for California.

- Hybrid – In a business unit approved office a few times per year to 3 days per week, on average
- Office – In a business unit approved office 4+ days a week, on average. If the role you’re applying for is deemed an “Essential Role,” the company has determined that the role can only be performed in a Blue Shield office or in the field and would require your to meet the office worker classification.
Physical Requirements:
Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Due to the current public health emergency in California, Blue Shield employees are almost all working remotely. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
