Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. Reporting to the Associate Director of HR, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in supporting and driving the full-cycle recruitment functions for California Retina Consultants. This position will be responsible for sourcing talent, screening resumes, conducting interviews, advising on best practices, and negotiating offers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through online platforms, networking, cold calling, and other creative methods to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidates against job requirements to determine suitability for further consideration.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, stakeholders, and candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the offer acceptance process.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, facilitating background checks, and coordinating orientation sessions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, recruitment metrics, and hiring activity, and generate reports as needed to track progress and measure effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) guidelines and data privacy requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition, and make recommendations for process improvements and innovations.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the employer brand through various channels, such as social media, employer review sites, and recruitment marketing campaigns.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three years of experience as a recruiter
