ROLE OVERVIEW
With direction and partnership of the Executive Leadership Team, this role is responsible for the full-time selection efforts for the Greater Green Bay office to include the surrounding areas spanning Brown, Kewaunee, and Oconto Counties. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach activity and talent goals.
RESPONSIBILITY SYNOPSIS
Talent Sourcing & Selection
· Build and develop effective referral sources with Financial Representatives/team members, develop productive centers of influence (COIs), and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e., referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
· Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual
· Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies to include ads, community events, etc. Maintain social media presence.
· Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual talent members to share leads and best practices
· Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools and leading candidates through the selection process
· Review resumes and schedule initial interviews
· Effectively communicate with candidates
Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
· Report weekly recruiting activity to leadership team
· Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
· Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
· Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements
· Manage all onboarding for full-time candidates
· Coordinate the exit process for departing full-time representatives
Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
· Bachelor’s degree
· Three or more years professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting or the financial services industry
· Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
· Track record of ownership in prior roles; the ability to brainstorm solutions and to implement ideas
· Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred
· Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective
· Excellent communication skills required
· Background and experience in creating and implementing a strong social media presence
· Attention to detail and high levels of organization
· Achievement driven with a strong sense of responsibility
TALENT RECRUITER
o Support the advisors’ prospecting processes to support new client growth.
o Work with fellow team members and agency leadership to determine training and support needs of the new financial representatives.
o Maintain adequate coverage for all new financial advisors through cross-training and back-up of fellow team members.
o Provide feedback for financial representative performance reviews.
o Prepare desk/workspace for representatives before they start training classes.
o Other projects as assigned by management.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
o Health and Life licensed or gain licensing within 4 months of employment
o Series SIE, 6, and series 63 required within 9 months ofemployment
o Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, or an equivalent combination of education and/or progressively
o Superior written and oral communication skills
§ Two to three years’ experience in an administrative position
§ Financial training or background, with emphasis on financial planning and budgeting is desired
§ Ability to take independent action and make sound decisions
§ Comfortable with work place technology; ability to make informed decisions about software support
§ Ability to lead change, multi-task, and be team-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,184.00 - $81,276.00 per year
