HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST HYBRD ROLE - IN OFFICE TWO DAYS A WEEK

The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee communications/relations, documentation of company policies and the management of a third-party HR partner on the administration of payroll and benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
· Sources and screens to ensure a qualified and diverse talent pool.
· Collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills/ competencies required.
· Coordinates and manages the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer.
Onboarding
· Facilitates a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including orientation paperwork and introduction to company.
Payroll & Benefits
· Working closely with a Professional Employment Organization (PEO), manage and sign- off bi-weekly payroll for all employees to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits, addressing discrepancies as needed.
Compliance & Recordkeeping
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and required licensures.
Employee Communications /Employee Relations
· Creates and manages internal communication channels to keep employees informed.
· Develops and distributes regular updates on HR –related matters, fostering transparency and engagement.
· Act as point of contact for employee and applicant inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
General HR Responsibilities
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, engagement and training and development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
· At least 5 years of human resource experience preferred. SHRM-CP a plus.
· Ability to quickly learn the HRIS and talent management systems.
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
