Our agency employs the top attorneys, forensic scientists and criminal justice professionals for the state of North Carolina. We are looking for a true HR professional to join our HR team as an Onboarding coordinator.
Our HR team is comprised of nine subject matter experts. Under the leadership of the Human Resources Director, we are responsible for facilitating a range of Human Resources programs and services while partnering with employees and managers on their DOJ employment experience including

THE STARTING SALARY FOR A NEW HIRE TO THIS POSITION IS LIMITED TO THE RECRUITMENT RANGE OF $35,000 to $53,000. Salary determination is based upon the candidate's education and experience related to the position, as well as departmental budget and equity considerations.

The salary grade for this position is NC07. State employees are encouraged to apply for positions of interest even if the salary grade is the same as, or lower than, their current position. Associate s degree, typically in Human Resources or relevant field from an appropriately accredited institution and 1 year of experience required;
or 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources;
or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Management preferences: Prior experience with onboarding and orientation a plus
