The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the prospective employee champion, immersing themselves in the acquisition lifecycle from brand/opportunity awareness to inquiry or application and later onboarding, orientation, and training.
Responsibilities
- Identifies optimal pathways for prospective employees, ensuring our community hiring managers and HR personnel have the process understanding and training to maintain engagement and convert interest into employment.
- Acquires a thorough knowledge of our talent acquisition ecosystem from the jobseekers' and hiring manager's perspective, particularly OnShift Employ, Indeed, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and community job posting sites.
- Executes sustained digital engagement activities across social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, including self-promotion as a recruiting subject matter expert, irrespective of brand; works to establish a broad follower pull-through that provides marketplace value.
- Develops and supports hiring events, coordinating with and on behalf of locations. Creates planning checklists, ensures optimal promotion and branding, coordinates staff to assess, hire, and begin onboarding, and serves as event host/facilitator.
- Grows into Administrator roles for OnShift Employ and Indeed, responsible for streamlining recruiting and onboarding processes, optimizing budgetary investment, and using analytics to tune copy, placement, and positioning.
- Develops and manages digital sourcing campaigns (Indeed, Facebook, and Instagram), including copy, graphics, budget, and analytics
- Conducts position-specific recruitment as directed, ensuring accurate, timely, and candidate-centric onboarding experience, maintaining personal and timely communication with applicants throughout the contact, application, and onboarding process.
- Conceptualizes and develops an online employment hub with a Virtual Assistant Recruiter (AI agent) to respond to frequently asked questions and ask first-level questions to weed out unqualified applicants and rank applications. Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers to maintain engagement.
- Establishes best practices and a training program for candidate screening, interviews, assessments, and evaluations
- Develops a new hire welcome process with a culture-advancing toolkit, action steps, checklists, and an accountability framework
- Creates position- and location-specific outreach campaigns with clear, measurable objectives utilizing OnShift and Indeed talent pools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, Human Resources. or a related field
- Recruiting/talent acquisition experience
- Social media, marketing, and customer service experience
