Qualifications for the Staffing Manager:
- At least two years of experience in recruiting, especially in the light industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experienced in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for effective tracking and management of recruitment activities
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a staffing or service-oriented environment
- Experience interviewing, onboarding, leading new start orientations, and interacting with clients all preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions with candidates and clients
- Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, within a structured recruitment process
- Experience using Microsoft Teams a plus
- Bilingual (English to Spanish) preferred but not required
Responsibilities for the Staffing Manager:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle for temporary roles in the light industrial sector, ensuring that candidate qualifications align with client requirements
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, and manage comprehensive orientations, candidate starts, call outs, termination, etc. to ensure candidates are properly supported throughout their employment
- Adapt flexible recruitment strategies to respond effectively to market changes and client demands
- Engage in active account management, maintaining ongoing communication with clients, providing updates, and soliciting feedback on placements
- Drive sales initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and engaging in negotiations to expand the client base and achieve sales targets
- Keep accurate records of all recruitment activities to maintain the integrity and transparency of the staffing process
- Lead and develop a team of recruiters, setting performance goals, providing training, and overseeing their professional development
- Participate in networking and professional development events to maintain industry knowledge and promote the services of Wood Personnel Services, Inc
