Divaris Real Estate is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to provide comprehensive HR Support to our organization. This includes the administration of employment policies, compensation, recruitment, and employee relations, and support the Chief Human Resources Officer in the development of Human Resources strategies, plans, policies, and programs.
Responsibilities
Recruiting:
- Develop and implement strategies for employee recruitment and outreach programs. Collaborating with department managers to identify staffing needs
- Conduct interviews with skilled candidates to testify their knowledge and skills
- Perform pre-employment and references in compliance with employment law
- Research/benchmark market compensation and provide compensation reports for review and analysis to the CHRO and management team
- Conduct exit interviews
Training & Development:
- Develop and implement management and employee training and development programs including safety programs
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
Employee Relations:
- Resolve employee issues in a positive proactive work environment
- Conduct workplace investigations and draft investigative reports
- Provide guidance and instruction to new employees and managers about the company’s policies and procedures
- Identify best practices through research; recommend specific processes, tools, and methodologies to address benefit or performance improvements
What we are looking for in a Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business management, business administration, or other relevant fields
- 8 years of working experience in Human Resources
- SHRM or HRCI certification
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively resolve employee issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills needed for influencing, persuading, and negotiating
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong knowledge of HRIS software
- Demonstrated abilities in strategic thinking and planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and complex project management
- Thorough understanding of federal and state employment laws
Must pass background and drug screen
This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5:30p
