Previous Work Experience
- BS&A.net experience required, others need not apply.
- Payroll processing experience required, BS&A.net Payroll and Timesheets experience preferred.
- Cash reconciliation experience required.
- Audit preparation experience preferred.
- Administration of employee fringe benefits preferred.
- Government accounting experience preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in accounting with a minimum of two years of experience, or an Associate’s degree in accounting with a minimum of four years of experience
Special Skills & Training
- BS&A.net experience required, others need not apply.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe.
- Knowledge in Human Resources, employee benefits, and employment related laws and regulations.
- Analytical ability and mathematical aptitude necessary to perform accounting functions of moderate difficulty and conduct research necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Computer skills necessary to maintain accounting records and generate related reports and schedules.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.
- Must demonstrate ability to perform job functions accurately, confidentially, and in an organized manner.
- Must exhibit good oral and written communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Basic Responsibilities
- Reports to the Director of Accounting & Human Resources
- Performs accounting duties, complies with Township policies, and completes various clerical duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,360.00 - $67,745.00 per year
