JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Coordinator will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and continually improve the recruiting process from beginning to end, including but is not limited to preparing and posting job postings, reviewing resumes and screening, sourcing passive talent, offer negotiation, etc.
- Setup and administer benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Continue to develop and maintain a competitive compensation and incentives program for staff.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Communicate, on an ongoing basis, the status of projects, ensuring the leadership team is kept up to date.
- Additional tasks and projects as needed.
- Provides administrative clerical support for the Director of HR.
- Oversees Unemployment Paperwork.
- Receives telephone calls, emails, and incoming mail and answers routine requests.
- Assist Recruiter’s office when he/she is out of the office.
- Assists with information in TEAM Software.

Education and/or Experience
- 1 year minimum of experience working in human resources or related field.
- Bachelor’s Preferred, but not required.
- Prior full cycle recruiting experience required.
- Project management skills highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with no issues rolling up your sleeves to help each other.
- Ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee works in an office environment where the noise level is moderate. Occasional trips to our Madison Office may be required, and occasional travel for company business may also be required.
