Position Summary: Manages key HR functions aimed at fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Interacts with all members of Town of Eagle business locations. Supports and manages recruitment process including initial screening interviews. Improves functionality of the office, creates reports, manages files, reviews employment laws and regulations. The role will assist with complex and diverse HR administrative technical, analytical, and professional assignments, help with safety, general liability and workers compensation administration. Participates in the full employee lifecycle and assists with employee benefit plans to ensure positive employee relations. Works closely with the HR Manager to facilitate human resources processes by providing administrative and HR Generalist support.
Hiring Range: $61,667 - $74,000 annually, DOQ
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment processes, including screening candidates & interviews.
- Maintain and update job announcements on our website.
- Assist with standard operating procedures.
- Help build and manage our HRIS system.
- Manage Benefits
- Administer safety programs, including General Liability and Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Prepare, draft, update, and effectively communicate HR-related information to employees, among other tasks.
What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, work seamlessly with others, excel in conflict resolution, adapt quickly to changing situations and remain flexible. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must!
- Minimum two years of Human Resources experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Some college, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- HR Certification preferred.
- HRIS or data entry experience helpful.
- Spanish pay incentive offered.
Position Type: This is a full-time position eligible for benefits. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly/8 hours daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ability to work remote 1 day weekly. May attend Town Council (2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6 p.m.), and various committee meetings that typically occur during regular business hours.
