The role
SoFi is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to drive hiring efforts across G&A, Marketing, SoFi Business Units and Operations at SoFi. The Group Business Unit Leaders are the Executive VP’s for SIPS (Spend, Invest, Protect, and Save) as well as Borrow (Home, Student, and Personal Loans)..
This is a key role on our Recruiting Leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition. You will manage a team of 9, layered with management.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the leaders of each line of business to provide holistic reporting and weekly updates on hiring progress for their respective lines of business.
- Manage a distributed team of 9 who will own a requisition load of 15+/-
- Own and drive requisitions, as needed
- Drive the intake discussion, recruiting strategy, sourcing and the interview process beginning to end including the offer recommendation, discussion and closing.
- Own and drive quarterly Talent Acquisition and People Team OKRs
- Partner with Finance & compensation for hiring budgets and offer exception approvals
- Work in conjunction with TA Leaders and Internal Mobility to drive a culture of growth
- Partner with the People Business Partners, Sourcing, and TA Operations
- Strong expertise across coaching, performance management, and team member development
- Regularly drive strategies that impact Candidate Experience, Quality of Hire, DE&I hiring, Process Efficiencies to track and improve strategies over time.
- Consistently advocate team priorities with all external stakeholders. Remove roadblocks proactively at the leadership level by having tough conversations
What you’ll need:
- 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience within a software or technology company
- 2+ years managing a team
- Experience as a talent advisor and strategic partner to hiring authorities at various levels including senior executives
- Proven experience creating reports and dashboards for executives
- Ability to cover and adapt to many different stakeholders and lines of business.
- Understanding of formulating offers with various components and making recommendations based on data
- Ability to use data to drive decision making
- Experience focusing on sourcing diverse talent using a variety of resources and tools
Nice to have:
- Specific experience with Greenhouse and advanced Greenhouse reporting
- Ability to lead through ambiguous change and shifting priorities while engaging with a path forward to team and business
Compensation And Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
