Summary/ Objective:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions.
Essential Functions:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Leads the job posting and advertisement processes
- Screens candidates, and selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with management team
- Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process
- Collaborates with the hiring manager, executive team and Director of HR during the offer process in identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO), related federal/state employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
- Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
- Performs other related duties as assigned
