Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to help our company as a part time contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience in various HR functions and possess a strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
Duties:
- Keep employee manual updated to be compliant with MN Laws
- Develop disciplinary procedures and methods
- Review entire HR process to keep business compliant
- Advise us on specific HR issues as they arise
This contract position is a 2 part process. The first part is reviewing our existing manual, HR processes and procedures to update everything to current HR standards in MN. This includes the new employee sick and safe leave laws. This part of the project can be quoted as a lump sum payment to you to complete the updating procedure.
The second part is a continuing advisory role in HR matters. This includes keeping our manual updated to changing laws and advising us on specific HR issues as they arise. This part can be quoted as either an ongoing retainer fee or by us paying you billable hourly amounts.
This position is a contract position. You are able to quote us estimates on costs, work your own schedule at your own location. This would be a great side gig for someone looking for extra income who is experienced in HR.
