Join our team as a recruiter for Loyola Medicine (Chicago suburbs)! Our Loyola ministry includes Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood IL, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park IL, and MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn IL. In this role, you will be entrusted to manage full cycle recruitment activities for entry to middle level management and individual contributor positions. You will collaborate with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to support the organization's talent acquisition needs. Hybrid remote/in office with ability to work on site at our corporate office in Westchester, IL and our major hospital locations in Maywood, Berwyn and Melrose Park, as well as represent the organization at career and community events in the surrounding areas.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition professional who will foster excellent relations with hiring managers as well as internal and external talent while providing an excellent candidate and new hire experience. Our talent acquisition team supports and values one another, working together to fulfill the Loyola Medicine & Trinity Health mission. We work as a team to place the best candidates into the right positions within our organizations.
Primary work activities include attracting and identifying candidates, sourcing passive candidates, leveraging social media to expand the talent pool, screening candidates, conducting interviews, managing the interview & selection process, advising hiring leaders, guiding newly hired colleagues through pre-hire onboarding, and coordinating relocation services. At Loyola, you will partner with hiring leaders as advisor, innovator, and subject matter expert while quickly bringing great talent into the organization.
What is required for this role?
- Comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, recruitment marketing, human resources and employment laws as normally obtained through a bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or a related field.
- Three (3) years of talent acquisition experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with healthcare is preferred.
- Experience using Workday as an Applicant Tracking system is not required but would be highly valued.
- Demonstrated success using social networking, internet research, and candidate mining techniques to maintain organization visibility, source candidates, and build talent channels.
- Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with varying stakeholders in a virtual work environment. Ability to shift between in-office and virtual work formats.
