Osteal Therapeutics, Inc. (Osteal) is a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a novel pipeline of combination drug/device therapeutics for musculoskeletal infections and their consequences. Our lead investigational candidate, VT-X7 was granted Breakthrough Therapy, Orphan Disease, FastTrack and Qualified Infectious Disease Product designations by the US Food and Drug Administration and is rapidly completing its clinical trial program for the treatment of Periprosthetic Joint Infection (PJI) with launch expected in 2025. A robust pipeline of additional indications and therapeutic candidates will lead to rapid and sustained growth for the foreseeable future.
POSITION SUMMARY
Osteal Therapeutics seeks a strategic and results-oriented Head of Talent Management to lead all aspects of our recruitment efforts. You will develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy, attract top talent across all functions, and foster a seamless employee onboarding experience. In this role, you will build a high- performing team to support Osteal Therapeutics' continued growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy across all company functions, attracting top talent aligned with Osteal Therapeutics' mission and values.
• Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
• Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Manage and optimize the recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient talent acquisition.
• Lead the development and implementation of an exceptional onboarding experience that fosters employee engagement and retention.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the overall talent acquisition process.
• Contribute to the development of Osteal Therapeutics' employer brand strategy by creating a compelling employer value proposition.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing talent acquisition teams.
• Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with recruitment technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
