Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Sr Associate, Talent Acquisition University Relations to join our University Relations team.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the full lifecycle of new college graduate and intern recruiting – sourcing at university campuses, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and presenting and negotiating job offers to candidates.
- Support university recruiting initiatives through collaboration with Hiring Managers and key partner schools to implement highly effective talent acquisition campaigns.
- Cultivate strong long-term relationships with aligned partner schools as a top source for candidates. This includes travel to these campuses several times in the fall and spring semesters for career fairs and other recruiting events.
- Identify candidates using sourcing techniques to include online and internal databases, contact lists, and job postings as well as sourcing passive candidates through student organizations on partner school campuses, networking, social media sites, internet searches and researching and identifying sources to tap for qualified talent.
- Actively implement diversity recruitment and retention strategies in partnership with Engagement & Inclusion.
- Develop strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand and meet business hiring needs. Ensure high quality candidate selection and timely university graduate and intern hiring.
- Partner with aligned school Campus Brand Managers (internal school recruiting leads) and vendor contacts to plan and execute on-campus recruiting efforts and events at aligned schools.
- Partner with aligned school Executive Champions to plan and execute a strategy for high-touch executive campus engagement.
- Pre-screen potential candidates for employee openings and assess candidates’ qualifications and culture fit, while keeping candidate experience at the forefront.
- Track progress in applicant tracking system, striving for 100% data accuracy to ultimately ensure goals are met.
- Ensure internal business partners understand university recruiting strategy and goals through metrics and data. Influence hiring managers and others to drive standard processes.
- Learn and understand L3Harris culture and employee value proposition and be an ambassador of company values when communicating with candidates.
- Assist with core University Recruiting processes and initiatives such as process improvement, stakeholder training, and/or development of branding materials.
- Uphold legal requirements and company hiring policies. Coach and guide managers accordingly.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time during peak recruiting seasons
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years prior experience in recruiting, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 6 years prior experience in recruiting. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in recruiting.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Recruiting/sourcing experience through corporate recruiting or HR Business Partner roles
- Experience using analytical skills to drive results through use of metrics
- Communication skills, demonstrating ability to effectively communicate across multiple internal and external groups (peers, internal management and executive levels, and candidates and school counterparts)
- Strong analytical, time management, and prioritization skills
- Experience with HR applications and Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with U.S. employment law

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado and New York State is $53,000 - $98,000. For California and New York City, the salary range for this role is $60,500 - $112,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
