This position requires a unique set of skills that combine Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist duties. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of manufacturing industry experience and a background in talent acquisition and general HR.
Must have the ability to manage the full cycle talent acquisition process, as well as handle a variety of HR tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, performance management, employee relations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The position will oversee a variety of tasks and assignments related to the daily support of operations within our manufacturing plant in Windsor, CO demanding strong relationship building skills.
Onsite presence at our manufacturing facility in Windsor, CO will be required full time. The position will report to Corporate Human Resources.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Post our manufacturing openings on various job boards and monitor candidate application flow to ensure a steady candidate pipeline.
- Work in partnership with hiring managers, provide guidance, support and recommendations on candidates throughout the recruitment process, including ensuring a positive candidate experience inclusive of hands-on support throughout entire interview/offer/onboarding lifecycle.
- Conduct phone calls or meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
- Mediate between candidates and hiring managers.
- Complete pre-employment andpost-employment processes.
- Employee lifecycle employment actions, including but not limited to, successfully managing the relationship with employees, policy and procedure interpretation, Performance Management, Corrective action, Exit processes, knowledge and application of employment law regulations and practices.
- Works with supervisors in effectively managing any employee performance gaps and corrective action development and execution.
- Effectively communicate Human Resources practice and policies. Advise KMC Leaders to enable effective employee management and leadership.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and ensures proper resolution.
- Follow up with new hires in conducting stay conversations.
- Conduct exit interviews (for voluntary leavers).
Skills and/or knowledge specifications:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Generalist.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
- Bilingual - fluency in English and Spanish language.
- Knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Experience navigating conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Demonstrated capability to build and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment
- Must have analytical skills, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the industry’s compliance standards and regulations (EEO, FLSA, ADA).
- Employee Relations skills - diplomatically handling a balanced level of employee advocacy.
- Investigative skills - skillful at investigating incidents to determine root causes and carry out through resolution

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or other relevant discipline
Compensation
$65,000 - $75,000 – depending on experience.
