WORK DESCRIPTION:
The Talent Acquisition Manager will create strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will search for candidates through various recruitment channels.
Ensures that recruits or transferring employee receive onboarding and/or applicable employee
orientation. Overall, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover
talent, build a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and
employees.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with hiring managers to determine selection criteria, identify staffing needs and
produce recruiting forecast.
- Ensures all approved Job Descriptions and Job Requisitions for vacant job openings are entered
in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Creates and list job postings on Haymarket Center website, social platforms and professional
networks.
- Utilizes an Employee Referral Program and other methods to attract qualified candidates.
- Processes Employee Referral Bonuses for eligible employees.
- Invites and schedules applicants to department and/or talent team interviews via phone and
confirms with all parties via ATS.
- Conducts and ensures that interview questions are bonafide occupation qualifications for each open position.
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening coordination.
- Coordinates job and salary offers ensuring applicable prior approvals.
- Initiates offer letter to new hires.
- Organize and/or attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Conducts exit interviews.
- Assist in meeting the retention and turnover goal.
- Provide career advancement advice to employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Five or more years of human resources experience as a recruiter or similar role; preferably in a non-profit environment. Must have working knowledge of employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven experience as talent acquisition manager.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
- Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
- Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
- Proficient in HR/Payroll software.
- Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
- Working knowledge of applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
- Excellent Communicator.
- SHRM/HRCI certification preferred.
