Overview
An IT Recruiter plays a crucial role in acquiring top talent for our organization's IT department. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals to meet our company's technological needs. The IT Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR to understand IT staffing requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand IT staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Utilize job boards, social media, and professional networking to source IT candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist in negotiating job offers and closing candidates.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with IT professionals and industry contacts.
- Stay abreast of IT industry trends and best recruiting practices.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to maintain accurate candidate data and track recruitment metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field.
- Proven work experience as an IT Recruiter or similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT roles, skills, and technologies.
- Experience with various sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting, Boolean search).
- Strong understanding of employment law and hiring practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
