The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead and direct full cycle recruiting activities from application to onboarding for hourly and skilled maintenance positions. This opportunity is responsible for leading initiatives to source, recruit, screen, assess and present candidates to hiring managers. This role will provide essential support to our Warrick Operations. Additionally, you will be exposed to a wide variety of recruitment engagement and will be pivotal to the success of the team. At this time this position will work onsite three (3) days a week and two (2) days remote and ninety percent (90%) of the work while onsite will be in the office environment and ten percent (10%) will be in the plant. You will report to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition.
What you will work on:
- Develop a recruitment strategy to build qualified and diverse candidate pools
- Create effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Actively attract and source candidates through the utilization of effective and resourceful recruiting techniques to maintain a healthy applicant flow
- Provide monthly feedback and reporting regarding the recruiting effort via various database reports
- Proactively develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for critical positions
- Effectively screen and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Negotiate and communicate job offers to successful candidates; generate offer letters and initiate pre-employment screening
The technical part:
- Associates degree preferred or combination of education/experience
- Minimum 3 years recruiting experience in a manufacturing, heavy industry or staffing agency environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with hiring managers
- Ability to drive talent acquisition initiatives and projects
- Experience working and navigating recruiting technology: ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
