Our Human Resources (HR) Business Partner will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives of an organization. They will act as a liaison between the HR department and various business units or departments within the company.
What You'll Do . . .
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives. This involves understanding the business's needs and aligning HR initiatives accordingly.
- Employee Relations: Handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. HR Business Partners often serve as mediators between employees and management to ensure a positive work environment.
- Talent Management: Overseeing talent acquisition, retention, and development efforts within their designated business units. This involves working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, conducting interviews, and implementing employee development programs.
- Change Management: Assisting in organizational change initiatives, such as restructuring, mergers, or process improvements. HR Business Partners help mitigate potential disruptions and ensure that employees are adequately prepared for changes in the workplace.
- HR Policy Development: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and align with the organization's culture and values. They also provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of HR programs, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Business Partnering: Building strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic HR support. This involves regularly consulting with managers to address HR issues and ensure that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, from four-year college or university, three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR, a plus.
- Business acumen is a must.
- Advanced computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and HRIS
