Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various positions within the organization and to be placed on project work sites. You will play a key role in building our talent pipeline and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Candidates: Proactively identify and attract potential candidates using various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Screening Resumes: Review and assess resumes to identify candidates who meet the job requirements.
- Conducting Interviews: Perform initial phone or video screenings and coordinate in-person interviews with the appropriate manager.
- Managing Job Postings: Create and manage job advertisements on various platforms to attract qualified candidates.
- Building Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates for future openings.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s culture and values to attract top talent.
- Collaborating with Managers: Work closely with managers to understand their needs and requirements for each role.
- Negotiating Offers: Extend job offers and negotiate terms with candidates.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Will accept field experience in lieu of degree.
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be friendly, approachable, and great at networking for talent.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong understanding of social media recruiting and professional networking platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working remotely and collaborating with virtual teams is advantageous.
- Must be able to task manage on your own.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft 365
- 15-25% travel to networking events and jobsites (Company paid mileage for travel)
