SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Identifies technology related training needs for the Company. Designs, develops and implements technical training to meet those needs and evaluates its effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

Works with IT management, department heads and managers throughout company to ensure employees have training, knowledge and skills to work effectively courses at various sites as well as use remote instruction methods to teach via video conferencing.
Coordinates instructor led courses with various outside education sources.
Researches, purchases and distributes training materials online for self-paced training (helpful for remote/mobile workforce).
Conducts training needs analysis for functional and skill/competency-based job requirements. Uses various tools to determine this information such as surveys, focus groups and analysis of performance data.
Designs, develops and distributes training tools such as standard operating procedures, reference guides, reference cards, standard work around procedures and other end-user documentation.
Participates in the selection and guide development of system training tools to ensure they address requirements, are user friendly, facilitate effective learning and are cost effective.
Maintains ongoing training schedules to continually improve employee skills.
Determines training effectiveness evaluation criteria and data gathering/tracking methods.
May develop certification processes to ensure quality and consistency of learning.
Work with human resources and other departments in global, cooperative training initiatives.
Develops in-house training materials when needed.
Performs other duties and tasks as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with six years of work related experience.
Demonstrated skills in training needs analysis, program and curriculum development, training delivery and training evaluation methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex concepts and processes in an easy to understand manner to various audience levels.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with others to accomplish objectives and goals; ability to build positive working relationships across divisions/functions; ability to gain agreement on issues from diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to manage time in an efficient manner and complete projects which require research and presentations.
Ability to intact with all levels within the Company.
Strong project management skills; ability to formulate action plans and timelines and execute to those plans.
Demonstrated knowledge of various software suites such as spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.365 Apps & Services – Dynamics, PowerBI, Yammer, Video Conferencing, Team Sites.
CAD – Solidworks, AutoCad.
Document Archiving – Scanning and archiving using Adobe Acrobat efficiently.
Travel as needed.
