Position Summary:
Tidal Basin Group, the leading experts in disaster and emergency management consulting, has an opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable, and skilled recruiter to join our Resource Management team! The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable professional with sourcing and talent acquisition experience to assist us in recruiting activities. Experience with FEMA PA TAC and other federal programs is preferred.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
This role will perform the following essential functions:
- Perform full-cycle recruitment duties including but not limited to sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, conducting thorough intake calls with hiring managers, updating candidates on application status, and providing updates to management regularly on requisition status.
- Professionally negotiate offers with potential employees.
- Perform advanced BOOLEAN search techniques for various level roles.
- Maintain and update a strong pipeline of candidates for potential opportunities.
- Adhere to all hiring business processes and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure seamless acquisition of talent.
- Complete required ongoing training as directed.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to staff multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and as part of a team supporting operations
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet surge efforts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 2 to 4 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
- Preferred experience with FEMA PA, HMGP, and PA TAC
- Prior ATS/HRIS or other database experience
- Must have Boolean search experience
