Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for successfully executing the recruitment strategy for the attraction, recruitment, assessment, and selection of qualified talent for the Linde Gases US business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruiting process of assigned area and/or region.
- Manage and update recruiting activity reports for assigned area and/or region.
- Build relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure utilization of approved vendors and recruitment tools.
- Act as a liaison with approved third-party agencies, vendors and partners who provide additional recruiting-related services to the organization
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is the primary system to facilitate recruitment activities across the area
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for most commonly needed positions.
- Implement Strategic Staffing initiatives and projects within the geographic area to ensure an on-going pipeline of skilled talent.
- Review internal compensation data to partner with regional HR business partners to facilitate and create competitive offers for selected candidates.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years, high volume recruiting experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word & Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to brainstorm creative recruiting strategies for challenging locations, as well as execution of those strategies
- Experience in candidate sourcing and data mining through various ATS, job boards and career fairs
- Previous experience conducting interviews with potential candidates.
- Strong multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
- Well-defined consultative approach with stakeholders
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Industrial Gas industry
- Advanced knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding employment practices
- Taleo and/or Cornerstone experience.
